About Erik

Erik has taught Spanish grammar, conversational Spanish, and business Spanish to international students since 2002. He brings an expert-level teaching ability, and 15 years of teaching experience, to every lesson.

Step-by-step, Erik gently helps beginner students to understand the practical basics of Spanish and to be able to speak as soon as possible. With more advanced students, Erik illuminates the nuances of Spanish grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary in a way that's practical, entertaining and easy.

Erik believes that learning a second language is the truest and best form of intercultural exchange. At the same time, he believes that language class should be about human connection and learning -- and just as importantly, Spanish class should be fun!
